Blake Isbell
Voice, Piano, Guitar, and Songwriting Lessons
Blake Isbell is a Pop/Rock artist and music teacher, born and raised in Coolidge, Texas. He started on the oboe at age 11 and later picked up piano, guitar, voice, and saxophone. He graduated with high honors in music from Harding University, and has written, produced, and recorded four studio albums.
Many of his students started as complete beginners, some too nervous to sing or play a note in front of him, and went on to perform for their own communities. He builds lessons around each student’s goals and the music they actually want to play, and every lesson ends with a clear plan for what to practice and when.
He believes musicianship and storytelling are the two most important parts of songwriting, and he brings both to his teaching. Blake is excited to work with students of all ages at Noteway!
